Alexander Bobilev, Principal, iJet Inc, has been appointed ILIAC Acting President....

ILIAC in collaboration with its partner, Russian National Public Library for Science and Technology (RNPLST), provides international Interlibrary Loan and Electronic Document Delivery services (ILL and EDD), fulfilling requests for literature on science and technology, partly on agriculture, medicine, economics, and providing original editions, copies of individual articles, works of small volume and fragments of books that are in the stock of RNPLST.
Client services are rendered in a traditional (delivery of the originals and copies obtained by reproduction) and electronic form (providing electronic copies). Readers receive documents from the stocks of the Russian National Public Library for Science and Technology and of foreign libraries. The services are rendered in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation, the 4th part of the Civil Code included, and also in accordance with the “Regulations for the service of RNPLST readers and subscribers using copies of documents in printed and electronic form, and microforms”.
ILL and EDD services are provided on a paid basis, contract price.

Scope of service

The Russian National Public Library for Science and Technology is the largest and most comprehensive specialized library on natural and applied sciences, engineering, technology, ecology and economics. Its collections contain more than 8 mln publications and the annual accessions make 200 000 items. The Library holds the following types of literature:

  • domestic and foreign books;
  • domestic and foreign periodicals;

Monographs, scientific reports and proceedings of international and national congresses, conferences, symposiums and scientific societies are of particular value.

Rare and valuable editions, encyclopedias, reference books, dictionaries, manuals, shabby both and old editions, and editions available in the single copy do not stand out by loan.

Charges and terms

Requested documents will be delivered to customers as original by loan, hard copies and temporary electronic copies . Regular service time is 5-7 days. Customers are to pay for requests in EUR on invoice within 30 days.

The Library), and also directed conventionally: by mail or fax.

All the supplied copies are protected by the copyright legislation and must be used in educational and research purpose only.

Payment for regular services includes:

Original by loan:

One publication ( per fortnight ) – 10 EUR

Photocopies and electronic copies:

One document (up to 50 pages ) – 10 EUR; 4 EUR per each 10 additional pages.

The charge is the same by mail.

Deductions under the copyright are included into the specified cost.

Telefax service:

Russian and CIS countries:

6 EUR per document up to 10 pages;


3 EUR per each 5 additional pages.


15 EUR per document up to 10 pages;


8 EUR per each 5 additional pages.

Outside Europe:

25 EUR per document up to 10 pages;


10 EUR per each 5 additional pages.

If the document requested is not available in the Library’s collections we are ready, with the customer’s consent, to find it in the collections of other libraries. The additional price for one document will be 10 EUR.

Terms of order reception


1. Order directed in International ILL and Document Delivery is executed only in accordance with a set form.

2. Order received by service ILL and DD on e-mail or by post is considered accepted to execution. The order may be canceled for 24 hours from the moment of its reception.

3. Order a copy of the article and order a copy of the book`s part are making separately.

4. Claims concerning to delivered documents are accepted within seven days from the date when the copy was sent to the customer.

5. Attention! Complete the form accurate and clearly without any reductions, in compliance with titles of its points/sections and separately for each necessary kind of the edition (journal, book).

If form isn't correctly completed, or has scarcity of bibliographic data, or incomplete fields, which is necessary for request execution, it will not be accepted and comes back to customer for specification. It is possible to put the information by request on the fields below:

for example, “We need a copy of title page”, “ To skip advertising”, etc.;

6. If bibliographic information is incomplete difficult additional work (missing data recovery) will be done provided costumer`s request and the consent / agree. It will cost 3 EUR.

7. Order the table of contents (without subsequent order parts of the book/journal) -will cost 0,25 EUR per 1 page.

8. Confirm your acceptance to these terms of order execution in the relevant form field.
