Set of CD-ROMs by the Moscow Male Chamber Choir under the Conducting of Valery Rybin Abstract. The Set consists of 5 CDs containing musical compositions performed by the Moscow Male Chamber Choir. The Choir was founded in 1988, during the preparation for the Millennium of Christening of Russia celebration. The Choir’s mission is a revival of national singing traditions and popularization of the best examples of the Russian musical heritage. The Choir performs mainly chants of Russian Orthodox Church: melodies of the Russian Monasteries, early Russian polyphony examples, examples of “neuma” chants, and sacred music by Russian composers of the XVII-XXth centuries, as well as choral compositions by modern Russian and foreign composers who work in the genre of a sacred music. 1.Saint Russia.
