Abstract. This special-purpose reference system is a collection of Russianelectronic indexes that form a constituent part of the Union Classification and Coding System of Technological, Economic, and Social Information (UCCS). UCCS deals with the information demanded by enterprises and organizations operating in statistics, finance, banking, accounting, customs, and trade. UCCS includes the electronic texts of published Russian Indexes with all amendments and appendices, each being supplemented with juridical commentaries and recommendations for their application. A user-friendly interface, a powerful retrieval system, and a ramified system of hypertext links allow a user to better orient within UCCS which uses the software and electronic texts of documents of the Kodeks professional legal systems.
