Abstract. The disc is arranged as a personal encyclopaedia which is devoted to the life and works of the famous Russian composer. It offers twelve most interesting multimedia tours "Tchaikovsky and Russian barton", "Tchaikovsky and Russian landscape", "Composer’s life in pictures and documents", and others. The chapter "Encyclopaedia" contains detailed biographical data including 120 articles about the composer, a comprehensive directory of his works, family photos, manuscripts, musical terms glossary, bibliography, index of Tchaikovsky Competition prizewinners. There are 150 fragments of Thaikovsky’s music on the disc.
