Abstract. The CD presents unique information on life and works of 33 great Russian painters belonging to different eras and styles – beginning with Feofan Grek and ending with Mark Shagal. Painters' biographies are supplemented by the illustrations of over 200 canvases. Lectures are accompanied by demonstrations and classical music (over 60 min. of sound). The disc also includes the dictionary of painting.
