Cyril and Methodius' Encyclopaedia of Armaments 98

Abstract. The data on all the types of modern armaments and armaments that sank into oblivion, from daggers and arbalests to laser target indicators and strategic weapons, are presented. The CD covers the wide range of information on various samples of armaments worldwide, including pilot and experimental models (specifications, schemes, illustrations). The encylcopaedia consists of 16 large divisions: side-arms, infantry arms; special-purpose armaments; missiles and artillery; armored machinery; fighting reconnaissance wheeled vehicles; fighting servicing; hunting and sporting weapons; weapon for police and self-defence; aviation and space; navy; strategic nuclear weapons; great battles; outstanding commanders. Over 2,000 samples are presented in the Cyril and Methodius' Encyclopaedia of Armaments 98. It includes about 5,000 entries, over 3,000 illustrations, unique video materials, 50 interactive maps of great battles, 10 three-dimension animation of aerobatics figures. The advanced navigation system is available to support efficient search by alphabetic and subject indexes, keywords and phrases, by various media subjects.
