Abstract. The modern multimedia encyclopedia on 7 CDs contains training aids on popular software packages (Windows 2000 OS, Internet Explorer 5 Browser, and Excel 2000 Table Processor), as well as the demo-versions of dozens of computer games and hundreds of distributors of useful utilities and applications. The most recent edition of the Encyclopedia comprises over 1,000 entries on the most popular technologies (networks, mobile communication, PC basics, soft- and hardware), related companies, personalia and individual hard- and software products. Many entries are provided with illustrations (over 1,600 images), or are supplied with animation, videos, diagrams, etc. The majority of the program chapters use the interface common for all encyclopedic products by Cyril and Methodius. The explanatory dictionary of Internet terms, reference book on programming languages syntaxes and other supplementary materials are provided.
