Geopolitics, interethnic and interregional relations in Russia (russian).

The International Library, Information, and Analytical Center in association with the Russian State Library (the former Lenin Library) and the Russian National Public Library for Science and Technology have launched a new joint project. Its main task is to generate a reference database on materials published in Russian periodicals that provide insight into geopolitical, interethnic and interregional relations in the Russian Federation.

The database is devoted largely to the formidable challenges confronting Russian nationhood today. In particular, extremist religious and political movements, in-depth analysis of modern day nationalist movements, and terrorism.

There are over 20,000 records in the database as of December 1, 1999.

The database is available on CD-ROM with further quarterly update via ILIAC Web server.

Electronic document delivery and English translation are also available on request.

Search elements: keywords, title, author, year, country, language, library code.
